The new building closes the gap between two traditonal rennaissance-buildings. The estate marks the point were the street bows. Combining both axis, the building defines its entrance. On the backside, the regulary rythm of equal dimensioned buildings is completed. The location has a very high image-factor wich is a perfect adress for a luxury hotel. Different kinds of movements were analyzed and combined into a concept, which influences the design of the floors and the facades. The materials are a mixture of rough modern brick, wich refers to the existence, and fine shiny glass, highlighted by elements in brass.
